keep these ingredients on hand so you can work a miracle any day of the week!

3 lbs lean hamburger
2 cans tomato soup
1/2 onion, minced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 tsp ground mustard
6-8 buns or artisan rolls
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped (optional)
2 pickles, sliced thin (optional)

flavor burst 1 drop black pepper vitality essential oil

Brown hamburger (drain if you're not using home-grown beef).
Add onion and red bell pepper; cook until soft.

Add brown sugar, vinegar, tomato soup, and mustard; heat until boiling. Add black pepper oil and cook on low heat until sauce is the desired consistency.

If preferred, lightly brush olive oil on sliced buns. Sprinkle just a touch of Back Porch Basil Oregano Sea Salt on top, and toast in convection oven.

Scoop sloppy joe mixture onto buns, and layer on a few thinly sliced pickles.
